Rice-Pork Tenderloin + Glazed Carrots

2 Pounds of Pork Tenderloin

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

1 Tablespoon Salt

½ Tablespoon Black Pepper

¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder

The Steps | Les étapes 

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix salt, pepper, and garlic powder into a small bowl. Trim silver

skin the excess fat from tenderloin. Rub with olive oil, then cover on all sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder blend. Bake for 50 minutes, let rest for 10 minutes, slice, and serve.

Glazed Carrots

2 Pounds of Carrots

1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar

1 Stick of Butter

1 Teaspoon Salt

½ Teaspoon Black Pepper

½ Teaspoon Allspice Powder

½ Teaspoon Ginger

½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

¼ Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder

1/8 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

Add all ingredients to a large pot and cook on medium, covered, for about 30 minutes until soft, stirring every few minutes.

The Rice

2 Cups of Water

1 Cup of Rice

½ Stick of Butter

1 Teaspoon Salt

½ Teaspoon Black Pepper

1/8 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

Add water, butter, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to a small pot and bring to a boil. Stir in

rice, reduce temperature to low, and cook, covered, for 20 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
