Introducing The Family Hall

Conversations about home, family, tradition, stewardship, and the things worth carrying forward

We found ourselves asking a central question that touches the past, present, and future: What does it mean to live well—and to build a life worth remembering? While reflecting on this question, we discovered that this constant and gentle inquiry has shaped many of the conversations that have now become The Family Hall. What made a life well lived three generations ago? Is the life we are living a reflection of a life well lived? And lastly, will the values and examples of a well-lived life be carried forward?

The Family Hall is a podcast by De La Livre, where we invite our guests into a place for thoughtful conversations about home, family, tradition, hospitality, stewardship, relationships, intentional living, and what is worth carrying forward.  These conversations bring together two different upbringings, two different sets of traditions, and two different cultures with one common goal in mind: building a life well lived with heritage, tradition, and family in mind. It is about communicating the beauty of preserving what is here, what has been, and what will be. This is not a space for performing perfection. No, this is a space that understands that even an imperfect past can provide a guide toward a more intentional way to live.

The Family Hall is more than a podcast title. It reflects the kind of room where people gather, talk, remember, read, listen, and spend ordinary life together. So, we decided we would invite our guests—and soon-to-be family—into our Family Hall.  In The Family Hall, expect conversations that touch on the inheritance of hospitality, family culture, stewardship, rituals, the pace of life, memory, and legacy.  The Family Hall will encourage intentional living with laughter, warmth, depth, and thoughtfulness. After all, we are a young family, but we are also a traditional family—and fun is a key element of lasting traditions.

Today, we are opening the doors to The Family Hall and inviting you to take the first look.

The Family Hall begins this season.
New conversations every Thursday.

Bienvenue and Welcome to The Family Hall.
