Lemon Cabbage Steaks

My mother always have said, “Where are your greens?” Green should be present at every meal. So let’s do green and make it elegant!

The Ingredients | “Les Ingrédients”

Place aluminum foil in a baking pan or around your baking rack

Oil your aluminum foil

1 Head of Cabbage

1Tbs olive oil/ per cabbage steak

½ teaspoon of salt/ per cabbage steak

⅛  of black pepper/ per cabbage steak

¼  tsp of garlic powder / per cabbage steak

⅛  of onion powder / per cabbage steak

¼  teaspoon of paprika/per cabbage steak

¼  teaspoon of Herbes de Provence/ Per Cabbage Steak

4 Tbs Butter/  Per Cabbage Steak

1 Tbs Lemon juice/ Per Cabbage Steak

The Steps| L’étape

Step 1: Pre Heat Oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit 

Step 2: Place aluminum foil in a baking pan or around your baking rack

Step 3: Oil your aluminum foil with olive oil to prevent sticking 

Step 4: Place your cabbage steaks onto the aluminum foil

Step 5: Take 1 tablespoon of olive oil  and brush it on top of the steak

Step 6: Add all of your seasonings and spices ½  tsp of salt ⅛  tsp of black pepper,¼  tsp of garlic powder,⅛  of onion powder,¼  teaspoon of paprika, and ¼  teaspoon of Herbes de Provence 

Step 7: Take 4 tablespoons of butter  per cabbage steak cut into slices, and place on top of the cabbage and herbs

Step 8: Drizzle 1 Tbs of lemon juice per cabbage steak

Step 9: Place steaks into the oven and cook for 20 minutes or until it just began to brown. For extra love add parmesan or mozzarella  cheese to the steaks and allow to melt, brown if you’d like  and enjoy.
