Easy Roasted Creole Turkey

This is a family holiday variation that we do every holiday season.  Our Creole turkey for a Creole holiday. Turkey can be made simple and tasty.

The Ingredients | “Les Ingrédients”

1.5 pounds  Smithfield anytime sliced oven-roasted Turkey Breast

1 stick of butter (113 grams)  

½ cup Chicken Broth

⅛ tsp Salt 

¼ tsp  Onion Powder

½ tsp Fresh Black Pepper

½ tsp Garlic Powder

⅛ tsp Turmeric

⅛  tsp Cayenne 

⅛ tsp Paprika


The Steps| L’étape

Step 1: Preheat the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit

Step 2: First, cut the stick of butter in half.  The first half of the butter should be cut into cubes, and that will go into the baking dish. In the second half, to a heat-safe measuring cup, slightly melt butter, then combine all herbs and spices with the butter and mix well for a rub. 

Step 3: Remove the turkey from the plastic and place it in a baking dish with the reserved liquids, along with the ½ cup of Chicken broth. 

Step 4: Slightly separate the slices of turkey and begin to pour the butter and spice mixture until covered.

Step 5: Wrap the Turkey foil and cook for 45-55 Minutes for 1.5 turkeys or until the internal temperature is 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Once Turkey has reached the internal temperature of 165 degrees, allow it to sit for 5-7 minutes and enjoy!
